There are many compelling reasons why postal delivery vehicles are ideal candidates for electrification including:
- General low speed of operation
- Relatively short and highly predictable trip lengths
- Frequent stops and starts
- Return to depot each night
- Compelling economics – and only getting better as battery price-performance improves
